Intelligent Terminal
With an investment of over 130 million Brazilian Reais in people, equipment, infrastructure, and advanced technology to enhance the experience of our products and services delivered to our customers, the Intelligent Terminal Project continues to advance.
In addition to the new Scania trucks and Stacker Kalmar forklifts delivered at the beginning of 2023, we have also modernized our gates, which now utilize facial biometrics. We have implemented improvements in our container yards, a process still ongoing but already incorporating the stacking of 6 containers.
We recently delivered the first warehouse with self-supporting technology, making Bandeirantes Deicmar the only terminal in the Baixada Santista to use this type of structure.
In addition to enhancing cargo storage security, this new structure will allow for a capacity increase of up to 60%, resulting in more than 22,000 pallet positions. In the technology realm, we introduced the CRM Sales system, automated operational processes using artificial intelligence, and other tools that will provide a better experience for our customers.
Bandeirantes Deicmar implemented Axis video surveillance technology across its three terminals at the Port of Santos, achieving compliance with COANA standards and elevating the level of security, operational efficiency, and logistics control.
The solution brought high-resolution imaging, license plate recognition, and 24/7 monitoring, meeting Federal Revenue requirements and extending the online storage period to 180 days. With Zipstream compression technology, it was possible to significantly reduce network traffic and storage consumption, generating substantial operational savings.
Beyond security, Bandeirantes Deicmar integrated the cameras into the container inspection process, automating critical steps and increasing operations traceability. Advanced features like Lightfinder ensure sharp images even in low-light conditions, guaranteeing total visibility in any scenario.
The project resulted in greater control, efficiency, and cost reduction, reinforcing Bandeirantes Deicmar's commitment to innovation, regulatory compliance, and excellence in port logistics.
